COVID-19 updates as provided by the Government of Thailand effective from 7th August 2020 at 11.30 hours.
There are 15 new cases recorded in the country bringing the number of infected cases up to 3345 cases in total with the 58 deaths remaining as is. Infections are mainly from returning Thai citizens from abroad and secondary close contact to infected persons.
However because of these new cases, there has been a change in the abolishment of the emergency decree which has been extended to the 26th September dateline for visa amnesty.
