Though their whereabouts are confidential, the first group of tourists possessing the special tourist visa has already cleared quarantine and will be allowed and ready to travel the country. From the 39 tourists that arrived, 33 have cleared quarantine and now are able to travel without restraint. The tourists spent their 14-day mandatory quarantine at the Royal Benja Hotel, with facilities open to their use during their stay such as the Gym and being allowed to celebrate Loy Krathong at the hotel pool.
Through interviews, people can be assured that the tourists were not miserable during their quarantine.
